Small Questions

Who am I?----------------- Character
What time is it?---------- Century, year, season day, minute.
Where am I?--------------- Country city, neighborhood, house, room, area of room.
What are the given ------- Past, present, future, and the events.
circumstances?
What is my relationship?-- relation to total events, other characters, and to things
What do I want?----------- Character, main and immediate objects
What's in my way?--------- Obstacles
What do I do to get what-- The action: physical and verbal.
I want?

These questions (similar to those used last year in acting two) I realize really help you develop you character and no that I begin to answer them it makes me feel more to connected to the small girl I am portraying in my mime. These questions help shape my movement and are each extremely important. Before I begin to rehearse I think to myself and prepare my self, I imagine my surroundings (which begins to become difficult considering my scene changes every 20-30 seconds. I am able to deal though and I slowly morph into this character that I spent weeks building an creating.
